Call centre for election period launched in Chisinau

Chisinau, 23 October /MOLDPRES/- The Centre for Continuous Electoral Training (CICDE), in partnership with the Central Electoral Commission today launched a call centre for the election period.
According to organizers, the centre will operate on 21 October-8 December 2014. The operators will provide to people in charge of the electoral lists within the local public authorities, as well as members of inferior electoral bodies the needed assistance to apply the procedures on managing the state register of voters.
The centre’s information line will work starting from Monday till Friday, at 8:00 – 17:00. Presently, about 20 operators and a CICDE instructor work at the centre. On 29-30 November, as well as on 1 December, the number of operators will increase three-fold, and the work schedule will be extended up to 24 hours per day.
