Chisinau, 27 March /MOLDPRES/ - The law, stipulating that the moratorium established in case of commercial banks in difficulty will be prolonged by up to 12 months at the most, was published in the today issue of the Moldovan Official Paper (Monitorul Oficial).

Thus, while so far, the legislation has stipulated that the moratorium could be established for a maximum period of four months, then the new legal provisions provide possibility to prolong the moratorium for a period not exceeding the special administration term, that is 12 months at the most.

The law postponing the creation of mayoralties of districts and district councils from the Chisinau municipality till 2019 was also published today.
