Czech Republic ratifies Moldova-EU Association Agreement

Chisinau, 9 April /MOLDPRES/- The Czech parliament today ratified the Moldova-EU Association Agreement, the head of the Foreign and European Integration Ministry's press service, Ana Taban, has said.

The decision was approved with 122 votes for and none against. Thus, the Czech Republic is the 17th country to ratify the document after Romania, Latvia, Estonia, Malta, Lithuania, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Hungary, Sweden, Poland, Croatia, Denmark, Ireland, Germany, Great Britain and the Netherlands.

The Moldova-EU Association Agreement was signed on 27 June 2014 and ratified by the Moldovan parliament on 2 July 2014, - a procedure that is to be carried out by all 28 EU member states.
