Austria ratifies Moldova-EU Association Agreement

Chisinau, 9 July /MOLDPRES/ - The Austrian parliament ratified the Moldova-European Union Association Agreement on 8 July. The head of the press service of the Foreign and European Integration Ministry, Ana Taban, has confirmed the information.

Thus, Austria is the 26th state, after Romania, Latvia, Estonia, Malta, Lithuania, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Hungary, and Germany, Great Britain and others, which ratified the mentioned document.

The above-mentioned agreement was signed on 27 June 2014 and ratified by the Moldovan parliament on 2 July 2014, procedure which is to be fulfilled by all those 28 EU member states.

Italy and Greece are the last two European states which are to ratify the Moldova-EU Association Agreement.
