Moldovan acting premier awards government's prize to most gifted inventor

Chisinau, 27 November /MOLDPRES/ - Acting Prime Minister Gheorghe Brega today participated in a festivity of awarding prizes to laureates of the 14th issue of the INFOINVENT international specialized exhibition, within which he awarded the prize of Moldova's government, "The Most Gifted Inventor." The prize was handed over to the director of the Chemistry Institute at the Academy of Sciences (ASM), Tudor Lupascu, who was appreciated for a work on getting active coal from material of Moldova, the government's communication and media relations department has reported.

Gheorghe Brega praised the role of inventors in Moldova's development and voiced confidence that the events organised to promote innovations, including this exhibition, represented an ideal environment for meetings between inventors, researchers and business people, as well as to turn to good account and materialize the best ideas. "The international specialized exhibition INFOINVENT brought together the brightest brains who presented quality inventions and which can make our life better," the acting prime minister said.

Brega congratulated the participants in the exhibition, wishing them inspiration and perseverance, to be able to create new inventions due to bring benefits to people.

The 14th issue of the INFOINVENT international specialized exhibition was organised by the State Intellectual Property Agency (AGEPI), in partnership with the Academy of Sciences (ASM), Agency for Innovation and Technological Transfer (AITT) and Moldexpo centre. Over 100 institutions of the field of science and innovations, higher education, private inventors and creative people of Moldova and from abroad participated in this exhibition, presenting almost 400 new technical and scientific achievements, materialized in inventions, products and modern technologies.
