Moldovan president awards honorific title to Romanian actor

Chisinau, 26 January /MOLDPRES/-President Nicolae Timofti today signed a decree on awarding the “Artist of the People” honorific title to Romanian theater and film actor, Florin Piersic, the presidency’s press service has reported.
The title was awarded to Piersic “in sign of high appreciation of his special merits in the development of performing arts, remarkable successes in his creation activity, as well as his substantial contribution to deepening Moldovan-Romanian cultural ties”.
