Moldovan foreign ministry to provide assistance to Moldovan citizens suffering after earthquake in Italy

Chisinau, 24 August /MOLDPRES/- The Foreign and European Integration Ministry (MAEIE) took notice in connection with a magnitude 6.2 earthquake that hit central Italy today morning, the MAEIE's information and media relations service has reported.

According to the official information, for the time being, there are no Moldovans among victims.

The MAEIE via the Moldovan embassy in Rome and consular offices in Milan and Padova is in touch with the local authorities and is ready to provide consular assistance to Moldovan citizens who had suffered after the quake.
