Moldovan, American officials approach bilateral relations

Chisinau, 21 March /MOLDPRES/- On a working visit to the USA, Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and European Integration Minister Andrei Galbur had a meeting with American congressmen. Galbur thanked for the support provided by the United States during the 25 years of diplomatic relations, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media relations service has reported.

The sides expressed willingness of the US Congress for reviving the USA-Moldova Strategic Dialogue, including via the platform offered by Moldova Caucus in the House of Representatives. Both congressmen, Will Hurd (R-TX) and Eliot Engel (D-NY), voiced interest in deepening and diversifying the Moldovan-American bilateral relations.

In another context, the officials approached the latest developments in security sector both at global and regional level.
