Moldovan PM, new Romanian premier have phone conversation

Chisinau, 30 June /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Pavel Filip today had a phone conversation with his Romanian counterpart Mihai Tudose. Within the conversation, Pavel Filip congratulated Mihai Tudose on his swearing in office, wishing him success in his responsible work, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.  

The Moldovan PM emphasized the ascendant pace of the Moldovan-Romanian relations and the boosting of cooperation between the two states, following the establishment of the Strategic Partnership for European Integration of Moldova. 

In this respect, the Moldovan prime minister highlighted the increased interest and priority importance attached to the special relation between Moldova and Romania. Pavel Filip also said that he was sure that the strategic dialogue between the sides would be further developed in the interest of both states.  

At the same time, the officials agreed on having a meeting in the near future. 

Also today, the Moldovan prime minister conveyed a congratulatory message to his Romanian counterpart. “I am sure that, in the long run too, we will maintain an active political dialogue and will enjoy every support of Romania and yours personal one in achieving the priorities of the bilateral agenda and the major goals of modernization and European integration of Moldova,” the congratulatory message reads.
