Moldovans may pay for mandatory health insurances policies starting from today

Chisinau, 29 December /MOLDPRES/ - People insuring themselves individually may pay the mandatory health insurance premium in fixed sum for 2018 starting from today.
According to data by the National Health Insurances Company (CNAM), till 31 March 2018, citizens can benefit from cuts ranging from 50 to 75 per cent of the value of the premium, which remained at the level of the last year one – 4,056 lei.
Thus, farmlands owners benefit from cuts of 75 per cent and pay 1,014 lei at CNAM territorial agencies. Also, founders of individual enterprises, patent holders, leaseholders, lessors, other citizens who are not employed and are not insured by the government, foreign citizens with right of temporary stay in Moldova will pay 50 per cent of the health insurance premium. The payment could be made at any post office or at the CNAM territorial representations.
Private people who prove their stay outside Moldova for more than 183 calendar days during the budgetary year also benefit from cuts, if they are insured in the first three months of 2018.
Notaries, lawyers, bailiffs and mediators who are not employed and not insured by the cabinet will pay the full value of the premium – 4,056 lei.
