New water, sewerage project to be carried out in Donduseni

Chisinau, 12 February /MOLDPRES/- A new water and sewerage project will be carried out in Donduseni district. It will be implemented by North Regional Development Agency (ADR Nord), which is currently in charge of the pre-procurement phase for construction-assembly works.

The new project in the northern region provides for the modernization of the water supply and sewerage services in the district center and the villages of Corbu, Donduseni, Tauul, Climauti, Tarnova in Donduseni district.

According to Constantin Bândiu, Head of Project Management at ADR Nord, at this stage, the program requires a series of adjustments in the technical documentation. "Plenary involvement of all parties, especially local authorities, is needed. The timely adjustment of the technical documentation will then allow for the launching and running of public procurement procedures in due time, "explained Constantin Bândiu.

The project from Donduşeni is about 17.6 million lei, requested from the National Fund for Regional Development. The National Coordination Council for Regional Development approved the allocation of five million lei for the works to be executed by late 2019.
