Agenda of cultural events in Moldova for 12 – 14 February

Chisinau, 12 February /MOLDPRES/ – The performance, titled: Gardenia, after a play signed by Polish playwright Elżbieta Chowaniec, directed by Daniela Burlaca, takes place today at 19:00 at the theatre Geneza Art in Chisinau.  

The playwright of Polish origin, Elżbieta Chowaniec, was born in 1982 in Krakow. She graduated from the Film and Television Faculty of Silesia, Warsaw Faculty of Journalism, holder of the diploma of film script writer of the legendary Lodzi school. Gardenia is her first play and was set up in 2007 at the Warsaw Drama Theatre, where it is still in repertoire. Since then it has been translated into many languages ​​and produced in different countries. In 11 years since debut, her plays and adaptations have had over 20 premieres.

On Wednesday, at 13:00 in the Great Hall of the National Philharmonic Serghei Lunchevici takes place concert: Evantai Folcloric, music subscription for children.

Also on Wednesday, at 18:00, the National Theatre Mihai Eminescu presents performance: Balamucul vesel by S.T. Burke, directed by Petru Hadarca, Theatre Ginta Latina – Boeing, Boeing ... by Marc Camoletti directed by Mihai Tarna and at 19:00, at Theatre Geneza Art – Floarea albastra, by poems and correspondence of poets Mihai Eminescu and Veronica Micle, directed by Daniela Burlaca.

On Thursday, 14 February, at 11:00 the Republican Puppet Theatre plays Planeta de roua by poems of Grigore Vieru at 18:00 at Satiricus I. L. Caragiale National Theatre – Doctor de femei by Georges Feydau directed by Alexandru Grecu, at the Mihai Eminescu National Theatre – In ochii tai fermecatori ..., dramatisation after the work of Gib Mihaescu, directed by Alexandru Vasilache, at Luceafărul Theatre – Questa e la vita dolce ...? by Gheorghe Urschi, at 18:30 at the Russian State Drama Theatre A. P. Cehov – Dragoste interzisa, after a fairy – tale by A. S. Pushkin directed by Ghenadii Boiarkin, etc.

On the same day, at 18:00, it is held a chamber concert at the Organ Hall, presented by the National Chamber Orchestra, conductor – Vladimir Andries, soloist – Cristian Florea (cello). In the programme: Concerto for cello and orchestra by Elgar and Serenada for strings by P. I. Tchaikovsky.

Also, on Thursday at 19:00 at the National Palace Nicolae Sulac, the Romanian singer Smiley performs a concert: Aprinde Scanteia. On Valentine's Day, the artist sings songs from his entire solo career and the new album hits.
