Centru Regional Development Agency of Moldova to resume restoration of road segment in western region

Chisinau, 14 March /MOLDPRES/ – The rehabilitation of the transport infrastructure on the Ungheni – Cetireni – Alexeevca route is an important project and should be resumed in upcoming perspectives, following the exact established execution schedule, according to director of the Centre for Regional Development Agency (ADR Centru), Viorel Jardan.

The project was examined this week, at a meeting with the specialists of the ADR Centru, representatives of the district Council of Ungheni, technical manager contracted for this project, as well as the representatives of the economic operator designated to carry out the works, according to the project.

The economic operator has assured that the works will be carried out in a due mode and according to the quality standards. Thus, it will be initiated shortly the rehabilitation works of the route between Floritoaia Noua – Untesti localities in Ungheni municipality.

The Ungheni project provides for fast and secure access to medical, educational, administrative, legal public services for population in the Ungheni – Alexeevca area. A trend is also the growth of the economic circuit in the localities in the region, characterised by poor economic and social infrastructure. In 2019, it will be earmarked the amount of MDL 08 million for this project from the National Regional Development Fund (FMDR), plus the one million lei contribution from the Ungheni district council.

The project, entitled: Rehabilitation of transport infrastructure on route L392 Ungheni – Cetireni – Alexeevca is implemented by ADR Centru and financed by the FMDR with participation of local administration (AL) and it is due to be completed by the end of 2020.
