Flower fair organized at National Botanical Garden

Chisinau, 13 April /MOLDPRES/- A Flower Fair is being held today for the first time in the territory of the National Botanical Garden Alexandru Ciubotaru. The event is occasioned by the coming Easter holiday and aims to promote this scientific institution that has a valuable and unusual fund of decorative plants.

The event has a full agenda. The fair will include an artistic program performed by pupils of the Theoretical Lyceum Academy of Children, followed by several creative workshops.

It also provides many excursions – winter garden, complex of greenhouses with tropical plants etc.

"Through this event we aim to promote the production and cultivation of decorative planting material by domestic producers. During the fair, visitors will be able to purchase dendritic, medicinal plants. Our goal is to create a platform for communication and collaboration between academics, GBNI specialists, native producers and all interested in cultivating decorative planting material, "sources in the National Botanical Garden said.
