Moldovan leu appreciates against euro, U.S. dollar

Chisinau, 13 August /MOLDPRES/ – The national currency (MDL) appreciates against the European single currency (EUR) and U.S. dollar (USD), on Wednesday, 14 August, according to the data of the National Bank of Moldova (BNM).
Thus, USD costs MDL 17.50 for $1, by MDL 0.04 less than today, and EUR depreciates by MDL 0.01 down to the value of MDL 19.63 for €1.
As it stands for the Romanian leu (RON), the BNM has established a value similar to the one registered today – RON costs MDL 04.15 for L1. The same trend is preserved by the Ukrainian hryvnia (UAH) and Russian rouble (RUB), UAH costs MDL 0.69 for ₴1, and RUB is quoted at MDL 0.26 for ₽1.
