Moldovan parliament amends legislation on commemorative days, holidays

Chisinau, 20 September /MOLDPRES/ - The National Nutrition Day will be marked in Moldova on 16 October. The parliament approved a draft decision to this effect today.
According to the authors, the draft’s goal is to enhance the degree of public awareness about the problems concerning nutrition worldwide and unite in the fight against starvation, malnutrition and poverty.
The establishment of the national nutrition day might lead to the diminution of the food dissipation and rationalizing the consumption of food.
