Moldovan president attends Wine Festival in Gagauzia

Chisinau, 11 November /MOLDPRES/- Following an invitation of governor of Gagauzia Irina Vlah, President Igor Dodon attended Gagauz sarap yortusu Wine Festival on 10 November, which is held annually in Comrat since 2007, the presidential press service has reported.

The head of state addressed congratulations to everyone on the occasion of the holiday. Igor Dodon highly appreciated the way the event was organized, stressing the importance of preserving and promoting Gagauz culture, supporting national winemakers and the real sector of the economy in general.

"I believe that the common task of the central and regional authorities is to create conditions for the development of the wine sector, to keep the traditional Moldovan outlets, as well as access to new markets," he said.
