Parliament standing bureau to decide on Socialists' motion

Chisinau, 11 November /MOLDPRES/- The parliament standing bureau convenes today at 4:00 pm in a meeting to decide when the motion of the Socialists against the Cabinet will be examined.
According to the parliament’s press service, the document will be initially examined by the members of the legal commission on rules and immunities, which will meet at 11.00. After the meeting, the commission will come up with a report to be presented to the plenary.
On 8 November the PSRM faction filed a censure motion against the government led by Maia Sandu. The Socialists were dissatisfied that the government chaged the rules for appointing the prosecutor general through the procedure of assuming responsibility, without consulting them. They asked Prime Minister Maia Sandu to withdraw the draft.
So far, the premier and the leadership of ACUM bloc have not come up with an official position on the created political situation.
