Moldovan parliament speaker has meeting with U.S. ambassador

Chisinau, 15 November /MOLDPRES/ - Parliament Speaker Zinaida Greceanii has had a meeting with Ambassador of the United States to Moldova Dereck J. Hogan, the parliament’s communication and public relations general department has reported.

The speaker reiterated the authorities’ determination to continue and boost the reforms in Moldova. According to Greceanii, the new cabinet committed to implement the projects underway in a short period.

Zinaida Grecianii highlighted the further observance of the commitments taken before the foreign partners, noting that the cooperation with the ACUM bloc would be continued on projects beneficial for the society, stressing that the bloc would not be attacked.

The officials discussed the social and political situation in Moldova, as well as up-to-date subjects on the agenda of the bilateral relations, including the continuation of the justice reform according to the international rigours. The sides stressed the openness for the development of a good cooperation.
