Chisinau, 30 June /MOLDPRES/ - The fines imposed for the infringement of the public health measures might be diminished. The parliament’s juridical commission for rules and immunities, which provides for this fact, approved a draft law to this effect.

Under the draft, the value of fines suggested will amount from 2,000 lei to 5,000 lei for a private person and from 10,000 lei to 35,000 lei for a legal entity. Presently, these fines are worth from 22,500 lei to 25,000 lei and respectively, from 50,000 lei to 75,000 lei.

At the same time, sanctions are proposed to be imposed for the repeated committing of the same contravention, worth up to 25,000 lei for private people and up to 75,000 lei – for legal entities.

Another amendment proposed consists in the establishment of the obligation that the instructions of Moldova’s commission for emergency situations, as well as the decisions by the national extraordinary public health commission be published on the government’s official webpage.

To enter into force, the draft must be adopted by the parliament.
