Tree planting campaign begins in Chisinau on 17 October

Chisinau, 16 October /MOLDPRES/- Chisinau city hall informed that on 17 October the campaign for planting trees in parks, green areas, block yards will be launched. One hundred thousand trees will be planted in the capital this autumn.

Chisinau mayor Ion Ceban appealed to citizens to join the greening actions launched by the local authorities, urging the involvement of the associative sector, economic agents, as well as representatives of political parties.

At the same time, the municipality urges the inhabitants of the city, housing managers, economic agents, heads of public institutions to actively participate and announce the addresses where they intend to plant trees and shrubs, during the next week, so that profile services distribute planting material.
