Acting PM, Ukrainian envoy discuss bilateral agenda

Chisinau, 23 February /MOLDPRES/- Acting Prime Minister, acting minister of foreign affairs and European integration Aureliu Ciocoi had a meeting with Marko Shevchenko, Ambassador of Ukraine to Moldova. They reiterated the willingness of both countries on continued promotion of an active political dialogue, including achievement of recently agreed agreements at the level of heads of state, the MAEIE press service has reported.

At the same time, the officials approached agenda of bilateral relations for the next period focusing on the cooperation of relevant institutions between the two countries. They noted the importance of joint activities on current issues on the agenda of Moldovan-Ukrainian relations. They touched upon the interaction at the state border, trade and economic cooperation, development of infrastructure projects.

In the same context, the sides confirmed the agreements on the admission, starting with 1 September in the international road traffic only of cars from the Transnistrian region that have model license plates agreed with the sticker MD, in addition to vehicles registered under Moldovan law.
