As many as 89 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 20 July /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 5,677 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 89 new cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which two import ones. As many as 258,096 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), none of all new cases registered today are among medical employees.

As many as 279 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 53 are in extremely serious condition (eight patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus).

In the context, 560 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 19,467 are under supervision at home.

Another 76 people have been treated. As many as 251,033 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another one two deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 6,229 people have died of coronavirus in all.
