As many as 1,153 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova

Chisinau, 15 September /MOLDPRES/- A number of 8,941 tests have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 1,153 new cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which 935 among non-vaccinated people.18 out of these cases are import ones. As many as 277,854 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health Ministry, 15 are among medical employees (4- doctors, 7 medical assistants, 4 -auxiliary staff).

As many as 1,218 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 85 are in extremely serious condition and 5 patients are connected to mechanical ventilation.

In the context, 4,436 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 16,133 are under supervision at home.

Another 642 people have been treated. As many as 264,430 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MS informs about the registration of another 11 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 6,559 people have died of coronavirus in all.
