As many as 1,300 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova

Chisinau, 21 September /MOLDPRES/- A number of 9,859 tests have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 1,300 new cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which 1,034 among non-vaccinated people. 29 out of these cases are import ones. As many as 283,950 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health Ministry, 30 are among medical employees (10- doctors, 12 medical assistants, 8 -auxiliary staff).

As many as 1,735 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 133 are in extremely serious condition and 11 patients are connected to mechanical ventilation.

In the context, 6,198 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 16,698 are under supervision at home.

Another 725 people have been treated. As many as 268,771 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MS informs about the registration of another 12 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 6,617 people have died of coronavirus in all.
