In just one hour of checks, 59 drivers fined by police

Chisinau, 28 September /MOLDPRES/- In just one hour of checks, 59 drivers who were driving on the Muncești road in the capital last night were fined for various violations.

According to the National Inspectorate of Public Security of the IGP, 29 of them exceeded the allowed speed limit.

At the same time, during the same operation, a driver was caught drunk driving. The alcohol test showed a blood alcohol level of 0.26 mg / l of alcohol in the expired air. His car was picked up and taken to the special parking lot.

The drivers of the transport units are urged by the police to respect the traffic rules.

Yesterday, INSP announced that, starting with October 1, it will carry out for a month the Tulburel operation, which aims to detect and document drivers who get drunk while driving.
