Over 7,300 foreigners applied for asylum in Moldova

Chisinau, May 13 /MOLDPRES/- On 24 February -13 May the Office for Migration and Asylum received 7,381 asylum applications.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, 421,929 Ukrainian citizens entered our country, 326,200 left, and 84,735 Ukrainian citizens remained.
In total, there are 88,422 foreign nationals on the territory of the Republic of Moldova, of which 46,272 are minors (Ukrainian and other nationals who have entered the MD-AU border segment).
