Sambo team won two medals at World Junior Championship

Chisinau, Oct. 10 /MOLDPRES/- Sambo team won two medals at the World Junior Championship, held in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.
According to the Ministry of Education and Research, the best result was recorded by Daria Vlah, who won the silver medal in the weight category up to 59 kg. Another medal was won by Alexandru Nedu, who completed the podium in the weight category up to 79 kg.
Both athletes are from Comrat and are the disciples of coach Petru Curu.
The Republic of Moldova was represented at the World Sambo Championship for juniors by nine athletes.
