Chisinau, 14 March /MOLDPRES/ - The Presidency today was visited by special guests. President Maia Sandu inaugurated an exhibition of drawings and essays titled, European Moldova, along with more children who came from all over the country.

The works were made by pupils within the European Week in Schools, when young people learned more about what the European Union means. The Moldovan president congratulated them on the ideas expressed in essays, on their vision from drawings and on the courage to show us how they see Moldova’s future in EU. ‘’I am happy to ascertain that our young people understand that the accession to EU means peace and opportunities of development, as well as that a joint effort, of each citizen individually, is needed for the carrying out of this country project,’’ the head of state said.

The exhibition of drawings will be hosted outside the Presidency’s building on the next weeks as a proof of the dreams of the country’s children about Moldova’s future – a future which they want to be peaceful, free and prosperous.
