IGP head on 9 May events: Bicolour ribbon representing symbol of aggression prohibited to wear

Chisinau, April 29 /MOLDPRES/ - Bicolour ribbon, "which represents a symbol of aggression" is banned for sale, wearing, keeping and production. Head of the General Inspectorate of Police (IGP) Viorel Cernăuțeanu made the statements on 9 May events.

He noted that several public events will be held on 9 May.

For violating the legal provisions concerning the sale, wearing, keeping and production of the bicolour ribbon, private people risk a fine from 4,500 to 9,000 lei, persons with responsible positions - from 9,000 to 18,000 lei and legal entities from 18,000 to 30,000 lei.
