Several farmers applied for working capital in agriculture

Chisinau, April 30 /MOLDPRES/ - 32 farmers have applied for the agricultural working capital on 15 March- 26 April this year. 30 applications were approved. The data were presented today by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry (MAIA).
With a state guarantee of up to 1 million 600 thousand lei, but no more than 80% of the loan amount, the agricultural working capital product is meant to support the immediate needs of the agricultural sector.
The new lending facility became available to farmers from 15 March 2024. Interested farmers can approach the commercial banks where they are serviced to access the financial facility.
