MPs voted on 56 legislative initiatives in April

Chisinau, May 2 /MOLDPRES/ - Parliament voted 56 draft laws in April. 18 of them were approved in the first reading, and 38 - in the second reading. Also during the same period, 35 draft legislative acts entered the legislative procedure.

According to the parliament's communication and public relations department, 26 were laws and 12 - decisions. Four legislative initiatives were aimed at adjusting national legislation to that of the European Union.

During the same period, the standing committees convened in 35 meetings, at which 43 reports, 11 memoranda and 98 opinions were approved. The economy, budget and finance committee approved ten reports, three joined reports and two opinions. Members of the legal committee on rules and immunities approved eight reports and one joined report, and members of the Committee on Foreign Policy and European Integration approved ten reports and joined reports.
