More than 400 servicemen to attend Swift Response-2024 exercise

Chisinau, May 2 /MOLDPRES/ - National Army servicemen will take part in Swift Response-2024 exercise, led by the U.S Army Europe and Africa, on May 9 - 16. The exercise will take place on the territory of the Republic of Moldova.

According to the senior officer of the exercise, Ion Coțofană, the training is aimed at developing capabilities and increasing the level of interoperability between the participating soldiers, as well as putting into practice modern techniques, methods and procedures of individual and collective military training.

Over 400 soldiers of Motorized Infantry Brigade Moldova, Special Force Battalion Fulger of the National Army and soldiers from the 82nd Airborne Division of the United States of America will participate in the exercise.

The National Army has been participating in Defender Europe exercises since 2021.
