OSCE special envoy to visit Moldova

Chisinau, 29 June /MOLDPRES/- Special Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office for the Transnistrian settlement process, Ambassador Radojko Bogojevic will pay a visit to Chisinau on 30 June.

According to a press release by OSCE, the official will meet Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Victor Osipov.

The official will also visit the Transnistrian region on 7 July, and will meet Nina Shtanski.

"The visits take place in different months, because the two chief negotiators will not be in the country at the same time", the press release said.

Bogojević hopes that the meetings "will revive progress recorded within spring meetings between leaders of the two involved sides".

"These visits, along with those from Kiev, Moscow and Brussels, reflect the official's commitment to advance dialogue and find a solution to the Transnistrian conflict settlement", the communique said.

The last visit paid by Bogojević to Moldova took place on 9-10 February.
