Moldovan Action and Solidarity Party's leader votes "for good of people"

Chisinau, 13 November /MOLDPRES/- Candidate for the president position on behalf of the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS), Dignity and Truth Platform Party (PPDA) and Liberal Democratic Party (PLDM) Maia Sandu today voted for election of president. She voted “for the good of people in the country”.
“I voted for wonderful people of this country, for people who believe in truth, fairness, honest work, education and common sense. I want to thank those who have been mobilized and came to vote, our fellow citizens in diaspora, who are going hundreds and thousands of kilometers to help us build a better life at home. We have proved we are numerous and powerful,” Sandu said.
“First thing we have to do is to restore confidence of citizens in Moldova. In this respect, I will appoint honest and professional people. This will be first signal that in our country the situation changes for the good,” she said.
Runoff of the direct presidential elections takes place in Moldova today. Citizens will elect between candidates who picked up the highest number of votes in the first round – PSRM leader Igor Dodon and PAS leader Maia Sandu.
First preliminary data on results will be presented around 22:00.
