Moldovan foreign minister attends special session of GUAM Foreign Ministers Council

Chisinau, 9 October /MOLDPRES/- Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and European Integration Minister Andrei Galbur participated in a special session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organisation for Democracy and Economic Development –GUAM, held in Tbilisi, Georgia.
According to the MAEIE’s public diplomacy, strategic communication and media relations service, a close meeting of the foreign ministers of the four member states took place with the participation of the Secretary General of the organization and the enlarged meeting of the council with the participation of delegation members.
GUAM President-in-Office proposed for debates a list of priorities that would form the basis of future developments within GUAM. These include cooperation in economic, cultural and tourism areas. The members of the council expressed their attachment to the principles and values stipulated in both the statutory documents of the organization and during the 20 years of cooperation.
At the end of the meeting, GUAM foreign ministers signed a joint statement.
