Chisinau, 11 October /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Pavel Flip today reiterated specifications on the speculations concerning the fulfillment by Moldova of the conditions for getting the macro-financial assistance on behalf of the European Union, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.

“I want to convey to all those speculating on the non-fulfillment of the conditions that we have fulfilled a half of the conditions for getting the macro-financial assistance. And so, we are absolutely according to the schedule and there is no problem in connection with this,” Pavel Filip said.

In the context, the PM noted that the increase in the budgetary revenues in 2017, which cover all the spending planned, had allowed non-inclusion of the first installment of EU’s macro-financial assistance in the rectified draft of the 2017 budget. At the same time, Pavel Filip specified that this assistance, for technical reasons, might not reach Moldova this year, but would surely be received by the country next year.

At the same time, the prime minister welcomed the adoption, on 10 October 2017, by the European Parliament’s Committee on Foreign Affairs, of a resolution under which the countries from the Eastern Partnership, which achieved results from reforms, among which there is also Moldova, would get additional support, including a financial one. “This is one more confirmation that our reforms are fit and that our work is noticed,” the prime minister added.
