Chisinau, 12 October /MOLDPRES/- The Prime Minister’s control body will have a limit of eight units, according to a decision, due to be published in the Official Journal of Moldova on 13 October.
The provisions are set in the regulation on organizing and functioning of the Prime Minister’s Control Body.
Thus, the document regulates the mission, functions, tasks, organization, competence and legal status of staff in the entity. Under the regulation, the premier’s control body is a structure without legal personality, made up of prime minister’s advisers. Thus entity will be led by a head appointed by the premier’s decision. At the same time, the counselors of the control body will perform the functions of monitoring, assessing, controlling and optimizing governance.
The establishment of the premier’s control body is one of the new elements seen in the law on government, which entered into force on 19 July 2017.
The entity was set up to help improve the premier’s decision-making process to ensure the efficient work of authorities/ institutions subordinated to the government.
