Embassy of Turkey in Chisinau organizes friendship concert

Chisinau, 9 November /MOLDPRES/- The Embassy of Turkey in Chisinau and the Institute “Yunus Emre” of Turkey organized a show “Friendship Concert” at the S. Lunchevici National Philharmonic on 8 November. The event was dedicated to the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Moldova and Turkey and the 94th anniversary of founding of Turkey, marked on 29 October.

In his speech, Ambassador of Turkey to Moldova Hulusi Kılıç said that the relations between the two countries develop quite harmoniously. He said that this year was a golden year for relations between our countries, when they had several high-level meetings. Moldova is a friendly country of Turkey. That is why, the title “Friendship Concert” was chosen for the show, he said.

Deputy head of the Philharmonic Anastasia Rusu said that the Turkish embassy organizes every year shows on Turkish National Day. The last year’s concert was dedicated to peace.

The diplomatic relations between Moldova and Turkey were set on 3 February 1992.
