Moldovan foreign minister to attend annual meeting of OSCE Ministerial Council in Vienna

Chisinau, 6 December /MOLDPRES/- On 6-9 December 2017, Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and European Integration Minister Andrei Galbur will participate in the 24th meeting of the OSCE Ministerial Council, due in Vienna, the MAEIE’s public diplomacy, strategic communication and media relations service has reported.
During the meeting, results of the OSCE activity in 2017 will be carried out and current issues on the organisation’s agenda will be considered.
Special attention will be paid to the regional conflict settlement, including the Transnistrian problem. Also, it is expected to adopt a declaration on the conduct of the 5+2 negotiation process. The Moldovan official will deliver a speech dedicated to the topical issues for the OSCE.
Traditionally, on the sidelines of the meeting, Galbur will hold talks with counterparts and other foreign officials in order to strengthen the dialogue between Moldova and its partners.
