Moldova fulfills all actions agreed upon with International Monetary Fund

Chisinau, 16 December /MOLDPRES/ - Moldova has fulfilled all actions and conditions agreed upon with the International Monetary Fund and we are prepared for the meeting with the IMF experts’ team. Parliament Speaker Andrian Candu made statements to this effect following the plenary meeting on 15 December, the parliament’s communication and public relations department has reported.  

According to the speaker, the parliament’s plenum approved and, thus, fulfilled all actions committed for IMF and their carrying out is to be reported on 20 December. It is about two drafts laws on the financial and banking system and the state budget law for the next year. Also, the speaker welcomed the approval of the budgetary and fiscal policy for 2018.  

Andrian Candu said that the parliament had ratified the agreement with the European Union on macro-financial assistance for Moldova and a memorandum of understanding. In the context, the speaker thanked all those involved in this process, including the government and the colleagues MPs.
