Moldovan Democrat leader on new governmental formula

Chisinau, 23 December /MOLDPRES/- In the new government people outside the PDM were nominated for office, as we want a cabinet not only of professionals, but also of the highest social-political representatives. PDM leader Vlad Plahotniuc made the statement in this respect.

He noted that it is the first time in Moldova when trying to make such a governmental formula and was convinced that it will yield interesting results. “Maybe that scares some of them”, he said.

“The new government has one goal and will achieve it – that it really is the government that represents the citizens, who listens to them and solves their problems. Around this goal everything will be done. It is, in fact, the continuation of the mission started in 2016”, he said.

The Plahotniuc noted that the government activity will be far from what happens on the political scene. “Whoever wants political struggles to fight with me and PDM colleagues, we will take care that the government has the necessary silence to work efficiently for the people. We will continue to go to the territory and talk to the citizens, to convey to the government their problems, to ask for their resolution, to politically support the solutions that emerge”.

He noted that 2018 will be very interesting, with many new elements of government approach, and a clear demonstration of responsible attitude towards citizens from the PDM and the government. “Although it will be an electoral year, it will be the year of important changes in attitude and efficiency”, Plahotniuc said.
