Chisinau acting mayor appoints more heads at city hall

Chisinau, 21 February /MOLDPRES/ - More heads of the Chisinau city hall on 20 February were appointed to office under an instruction signed by the Moldovan capital’s acting mayor, Silvia Radu.   

According to the Chisinau city hall, it is about the former chief police  commissioner of Chisinau, Eugeniu Axentiev, who was appointed director of the municipal enterprise Regia Autosalubritate (dealing with cleaning roads, waste management, etc.) and the former head of the Interior Ministry’s Investigations and Home Security Directorate, Vladimir Maiduc, who will lead the Administrative Department of the Chisinau city hall.   

The new head from Regia Autosalubritate was appointed to post for a two-year period. According to the Moldovan capital’s city hall, the former head Tudor Maniv, ceased work at this enterprise, given the expiration of the management contract.  

Contacted by MOLDPRES, the spokesman for the Chisinau city hall, Vadim Branzaniuc, said that “the position was vacant till the appointment of Vladimir Maiduc as head of the Administrative Department.”

Today, the Moldovan capital’s city hall informed that the director of the municipal enterprise, Association of Green Areas Management, Eliferii Haruta, submitted an application on resignation from office. “The application was presented on 20 February, with personal reasons invoked,” Branzaniuc noted.   

Vadim Branzaniuc specified that the new head of the Association of Green Areas Management was to be appointed under an instruction by the Chisinau acting mayor, without organizing a public contest.

Eliferii Haruta has led the aforementioned association since June 2007.
