Moldovan foreign minister meets with Executive Director of European Economic Senate

Chisinau, 02 March /MOLDPRES/ – The attraction of investments and development of tourist potential of Moldova, creation of an attractive infrastructure for both the countrymen and guests from abroad are some of priority directions of the government. Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Tudor Ulianovschi, made this statement today at the meeting with Executive Director of European Economic Senate (EES), Michael Ernst Jäger, the MAEIE’s public diplomacy, strategic communication and media interaction service has reported.

The interlocutors exchanged views on situation in tourism sector and its role within national economy, promoting national values, attesting to a significant increase of foreign citizens’ interest for Moldova, especially during national events, such as festival Martisor, Wine Day, etc.

Related to it, Tudor Ulianovschi and Michael Ernst Jäger agreed to organise an informational visit to Moldova of members of EES, which would contribute to tourism industry’s development and initiation of investment projects in the field.

As to develop partnership relations with Moldova, Michael Ernst Jägera met with Director of Tourism Agency and leadership of the Moldovan National Tourist Association (ANTRIM).

Michael Ernst Jäger visits Moldova at invitation of the head of the Moldovan Diplomacy, following contacts established within margins of the visit of Minister Ulianovschi to Bavaria, which took place on 18 February 2018.
