Moldovan government adopts decision on reorganisation of Material Reserves Agency

Chisinau, 12 March /MOLDPRES/- The government today adopted a decision on reorganization by transformation of the Material Reserves Agency from a central administrative authority subordinated to the government into an administrative authority subordinated to the Interior Ministry.

Changing the legal status of the Material Reserves Agency is part of the public administration reform. Under the regulation on organization and functioning of MAI, it ensures elaboration and implementation of government policy in the state material reserves and mobilization.

The cabinet instructed the Interior Ministry to initiate the necessary legal procedures for selection by competition and appointment of director of the Material Reserves Agency.
