Chisinau, 25 May /MOLDPRES/- Over 700 jobs have been created at the Molltex-grup factory in Balti municipality. The new factory is an investment of 4 million euros and is part of Ostazar Romanian group. The investor plans to extend the company in Donduseni city. The second plant with a capacity of about 1,000 jobs is expected to be opened in July, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.

Prime Minister Pavel Filip said that the launch of new projects confirms that things in Moldova are moving in the right direction. He thanked the investors for their confidence and determination to develop their business in our country. “Every open factory means that investors find a predictable business environment, where you can start a business. For those who work here, the inauguration of this factory means a job. Thus, less people will go abroad, we will have complete families and this is the most important for me,” he said.

The premier referred to the actions taken to improve the business environment, which led to concrete results, such as the creation of 60,000 new jobs and 115 million dollars in the Free Economic Zones over the past year. “To solve the existing problems, there is no other way than to ensure necessary conditions for investors to come and build businesses. Only this way, the state’s financial capacity will become bigger and we will have money in the budget to make social and public investments,” Filip said. At the same time, the premier pointed out the need to continue the reforms in justice, as well as the importance of the development of dual education. This year, 700 pupils will learn the job directly to enterprises.

Investor Dmitri Karaman said he made the decision to invest in Moldova after the meeting law year with Filip. “I thank the premier for persuading me to come to make a family in Moldova. The family grows, the team grows, we work together and we want to invest more,” he said.

Established in 2000 in Romania, Oztasar Ltd is today among the leading companies, including four factories in Prahova and Dambovita and a design and logistics centre with the residence in the UK.

Also, the premier visited the InfinitTextil factory in Balti municipality. The company, opened in 1997, is a domestic investment. The textiles produced here are exported to the UK, Italy and Romania. It has expanded in Chisinau too. Over 700 jobs are created at the two factories. The company’s turnover is about 3 million lei per month.
