Heavy rain, hail storm expected in Moldova

Chisinau, 22 June /MOLDPRES/- The State Hydrometeorological Service (SHS) announced the Yellow Code for sudden change of weather, which will be valid on 22- 23 June.

According to meteorologists, today precipitation is forecast and sudden change of weather in the country.

Tomorrow the weather will cool down significantly. Thus, the air temperature could drop to +15 +20 degrees during the day.

Experts say that the greatest danger in June is the severe rainfall and hailstorms that are reported annually. Long-lasting rainfall is possible on average once every four years, strong winds (speed above 25 m / s) - on average every three years.

“According to the forecasts, the heat will suddenly be replaced by temperatures that could even drop to +15 degrees. For certain categories of people this is not really good. Be careful, especially patients with cardiovascular and respiratory diseases, elderly people, who are advised to avoid long-term outcomes, strive to maintain a steady thermal regime and take regular medication prescribed by the doctor,” medical sources said.
