Agenda of cultural events in Moldova for next week-end

Chisinau, 22 June /MOLDPRES/ – At the end of season, Theatre Geneza Art comes with premiere of play "Labyrinth" by American dramatist Rajiv Joseph, directed by Daniela Burlaca. It is a comedy about human relationships expressed by love, friendship, but also carnal instincts, but these relationships collide in the head. The premiere of performance takes place on 23 and 24 June, at 19:00.

According to organisers, Rajiv Joseph, one of the most influential American playwrights and scriptwriters, brings to light all successes and failures of Ty, a poet and professor that reinterprets the myth of a modern Don Juan, fascinated by the variety of feminine personalities.

On Saturday at 11:00 Licurici Republican Puppet Theatre presents "Cantecul mierlei" (The song of mermaid) (in Russian) by Annie M. G. Schmidt and Guguta Municipal Theatre plays performance "Fapta buna mult aduna" (The good deed gathers much) by Ion Creanga.

On Saturday, at 18:00, National Theatre Mihai Eminescu performs "Tache, Ianche and Cadar" by Victor Ion Popa.

Also Saturday, at 18:00, Russian State Drama Theatre A.P. Chekhov presents performance "Nevasta altuia si un sot sub pat" (The wife of another and a husband under bed) by Fiodor Dostoievski, and at 19:00, Geneza Art Theatre – plays premiere "Labyrinth".

On Sunday, at 11:00, Licurici Republican Puppet Theatre presents "The Shoes" in English by Charles Perrault, Guguta Municipal Theatre plays "Caprita-harngarita" by M. Suponin and Russian State Drama Theatre A. P. Cehov – "Cheburashka and circus".

On Sunday, at 17:00, National Opera and Ballet Theatre Maria Biesu plays "Don Quixote", a three-act ballet by Ludwig Minkus, after an episode of novel "Don Quixote de la Mancha" by Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra, and at 18:00 at the Russian State Drama Theatre A. P. Chekhov – "Mireasa" (The bride) by A. Ostrovski and at 19.00 at Geneza Art Theatre – Labyrinth.

Also on Sunday, at 18:00, it is played "Krum" by Hanoch Levin on the stage of National Theatre Mihai Eminescu.
