Chisinau, 27 June /MOLDPRES/ – It is played performance Aida in four acts by Italian composer Giuseppe Verdi at the National Opera and Ballet Theatre Maria Biesu, on Thursday, 28 June at 18:30 at season round up.
According to organisers, major subject of the work is the tragic conflict between the pursuit of freedom, on one hand, and the unfortunate force of oppression and violence, on the other. The action takes place in Memphis and Teba during the reign of the Pharaohs. The symphonic orchestra will be directed by Nicolae Dohotaru and there are to perform over 200 artists on stage, including the Italian tenor Simone Frediani.
Also on 28 June, at 18:30, National Theatre Mihai Eminescu plays: Storcatorul de fructe (The juice extractor) by Ilia Cilaki.
On 28 June, at 19:00, Geneza Art Theatre awaits its audience at premiere of performance: Labirint (Labyrinth) by American dramatist Rajiv Joseph, directed by Daniela Burlaca.
On Friday, 29 June, at 18:00, National Theatre Mihai Eminescu restages performance: Pomul vietii (The tree of life) by Dumitru Matcovschi.
On Saturday, 30 June, at 18:00, at the same theatre audience is invited to play: Casa Mare (Guests' room) by Ion Druta, for the third time this year – directed by Alexandru Cozub.
On Sunday, 01 July, at 18:00, National Theatre Mihai Eminescu presents performance: Filumena Marturano or Divorce in Italian Style by Eduardo De Filippo.
