Health centre from north Moldova town modernized

Chisinau, 30 June /MOLDPRES/ - A project on enhancing the energy efficiency of the Health Centre from the northern Soldanesti town has been completed with sources of the National Regional Development Fund. At a recent final reception, a special commission has assessed the works, which it described as in line with norms.    

Within the project, joinery works, as well as thermal isolation of the building’s walls were carried out at the Health Centre.     

“The main goals of the project consisted in the rehabilitation and extension of the energy sources used, cutting the consumption of thermal energy, due to the change of windows and doors, heating walls. We endeavoured to carry out this project in due time, so that the Health Centre enters a new cold season prepared and supplied,” the director of the Centru Regional Development Agency, Viorel Jardan, has told MOLDPRES.   

“We expect considerable savings for the district’s budget. The Centre’s modernization will allow us optimizing the spending for maintaining the medical institution, especially on the cold period of the year,” the Soldanesti district head, Svetlana Rotundu, said. According to specialists’ estimations, thermal energy worth about 476,160 KW/hour will be economized annually.   

The works carried out are worth about four million lei – money from sources of the National Regional Development Fund. As much as 200,000 lei of all the sum accounts for the contribution of the Soldanesti district council.
